I am DBS checked, Insured and hold a paediatric first aid certificate. I have been teaching antenatal preparation classes for more than 20 years as a Midwife and I have attended seminars and conferences about antenatal preparation, waterbirth and natural labour.
The course is divided into three x 2 hour sessions - held on three consecutive weeks.
To make it easier for birth partners to attend, sessions are provided in the evening and at weekends.
Classes start from around 28-30 weeks gestation so that you still have the information fresh in your mind when labour starts.
There is a minimum of three couples and a maximum of ten couples per class so they are great for developing a social networks whilst keeping the class intimate.
