Maternity Nurse

What is a maternity nurse and what do they do?

A maternity Nurse is a specialist in providing postnatal care for mothers and babies. This helps support the parents into their new role, or reminds them about care of their baby if this is an addition to the family.

Maternity Nurses stay in your home for either 12 or 24 hours at a time. Sarah is happy to provide either length of stay with 12 hour day or night bookings. Stays can be up to 6 days per week. Sarah is happy to take bookings of up to 5 weeks at a time. Sole charge of the baby can be undertaken.

As well as being a qualified Nurse and Midwife, Sarah has a Maternity Nurse qualification, a first aid certificate and a DBS certificate. In addition she is fully insured.
