Early DaysPostnatal Support

There are so many uncertainties is the first few weeks of having a new baby. But help is at hand. I can answer questions on all aspects of newborn care during those first few precious days. This service is particularly good for first time parents or parents of twins who need some extra practical support and advice.  Practical support can also be helpful following a caesarean to aid maternal recovery. So if you need help on the following then please call between 7am -10pm. 

Advice on

• Feeding, winding and colic
• Settling into the crib and developing a routine
• Bathing and nappy changing
• Sudden Infant Death syndrome advice
• Cord and skin care
• Practical help with twins - I have a certificate in care of twins and preterm infants
• What to expect from your baby in those early days
• Help following a caesarean

Help can be arranged overnight if you are finding this time of the day particularly challenging but I am not available unless contacted before 10pm to make arrangements.

I am DBS checked, Insured and hold a paediatric first aid certificate.
