Courses are provided over a four week period of 60 minute classes. The first class will have less actual massage than the following classes as the babies will need to build their tolerance of this new experience. Classes are run for babies from birth to pre crawling but it should be remembered hat babies need to be awake for the massage to be performed. Therefore it maybe more appropriate for babies from around 8 weeks where they have a more predictable waking period. All you need for the class will be provided including a massage mat and towel, cushion (for mum to sit on) and hypoallergenic Grapeseed oil for massage purposes. A booklet of massage strokes will be provided for you to take home. Practice of the massage strokes is recommended between sessions. Basic nursery rhymes are sung during the sessions to enhance the baby's communication skills.

Sarah has a Diploma in Teaching Infant Massage. She also has a DBS certificate, insurance and paediatric first aid course.

Classes are held in various locations

Please contact Sarah for details on where the next course of classes with availability will be held. They are central to Stamford and Oakham town centres in baby friendly settings with baby changing facilities available.  To encourage interaction between all participants there will be time for a chat at the end of the session and groups are kept small with between 3 and 8 Mums with babies. The actual time massaging your baby is not likely to exceed 40 minutes the rest of the session will be information giving and time to socialise. Baby massage is possible with twins so please do come along.
